Birthday presents - Guild Wars Forums

Some of my characters are approaching their one year birth. I am wondering how the "birthday present" system works, whats a typical present, how do you get it and do you get it right on the date? (you would assume you do)

Just leave an inventory slot on that character open. It will appear there automatically when they reach one year old.

If you have no slots open in inventory when you reach the date, the present will not spawn immediately. It will however appear automatically in your inventory the next time you log in with an open spot in your inventory.
So, don't worry about leaving room for it.
